This jaggery goor softens and melts smoothly when warmed, making it easy to stir into hot milk, tea or simmering pans. It comes as a solid block, ready to break into pieces or grate as needed for cooking. Jaggery goor is a traditional unrefined sugar, used widely in South Asian kitchens as a natural sweetener. Add it to gur wale chawal, halwa or laddoo, or stir a piece into hot tea for a deeper, more rounded sweetness than white sugar gives.
