Heera Glutinous Rice is best known for sticky rice puddings and mango sticky rice, a firm favourite in South East Asian cooking. This 2kg bag contains glutinous rice, also called sticky rice, known for its short, plump grains that turn soft and sticky once cooked. At home, it is used for sweet and savoury dishes alike. Cooks steam or boil it to make sticky rice parcels, rice cakes, and fillings for stuffed dishes. It also works well in desserts, paired with coconut milk and fruit for a classic mango sticky rice.
