Peri peri chicken is the dish this rub is made for. E.E Hot Peri Peri Rub is a spice blend designed to bring bold, fiery flavour to your cooking, packed in a 300g tub for regular use in the kitchen. Rub it generously over chicken thighs, breasts or whole birds before grilling, roasting or barbecuing for a classic peri peri chicken. It also works well massaged into prawns, pork chops or firm white fish before cooking. For a simple midweek meal, coat chicken pieces in the rub, leave to sit for a few minutes, then pan-fry or oven-bake until cooked through. Use it to season vegetables such as corn on the cob or potato wedges before roasting, giving them a hot, spiced edge alongside a main dish. A light dusting also lifts homemade chips or roasted chickpeas. Store the rub in a cool, dry cupboard away from direct sunlight. Keep the lid tightly sealed after use to preserve its heat and flavour for longer. Shake the tub before each use to redistribute the spices evenly, as some settling is normal during storage.
