This pack of LeisterBakery Plain Handmade Naan is a household staple, ideal for regular curry nights and quick lunches throughout the week. Each naan is handmade, giving it a soft, slightly uneven shape and a light, pillowy texture typical of traditional flatbread. Naan like this is a natural partner for curries, whether a chicken tikka masala, a lamb rogan josh or a simple vegetable dahl, used to scoop up sauce and mop the plate clean. It also works well as a base for a quick kebab wrap, filled with grilled meat, salad and a spoonful of chutney or yoghurt. For a simpler meal, warm naan can be torn and served alongside dips such as houmous or raita. To serve, warm the naan in a dry frying pan for a minute on each side, or place under a hot grill until it puffs slightly and picks up light char marks.
