Armaan Rest Porotta is a layered flatbread, sold frozen and ready to cook at home. Each disc is made up of thin, flaky layers that separate easily once cooked, giving a soft centre with a slightly crisp edge. This porotta is a familiar side for curries, kurma and dhal, and works well alongside chicken or vegetable gravies. It also makes a quick base for a simple roll, filled with leftover curry or a fried egg. Cook straight from frozen on a hot tawa or non-stick pan with a little oil, turning until golden on both sides. Once cooked, clap or scrunch the porotta gently between your palms to loosen the layers before serving. Keep the pack in the freezer and use within the guidance on the packaging once opened. Cook only the number of pieces needed and return the rest to the freezer promptly.
