Tropics Special Fry Mix is a dry seasoning blend in a 300g tub, ready to use straight from the pack. It has a fine, even texture that coats meat, fish and vegetables evenly, helping to build flavour before cooking. Use it to season chicken or fish before pan-frying or deep-frying, giving a well-seasoned finish. Stir a spoonful into jollof rice, stews or soups for extra depth, or toss with plantain or vegetables before frying or roasting. A light coating is usually enough to flavour a full pan of meat or fish. Keep the tub in a cool, dry cupboard, away from direct sunlight and heat. Reseal the lid firmly after each use to keep the mix in good condition and stop it clumping. Give the mix a quick stir before use, as settling can occur during storage.
