Sapna Red Chilli Paste is a smooth, deep red paste made from chillies, blended to a thick, spoonable consistency. It has a rich colour and a robust, fiery character that comes through even in small amounts. Stir it into curries, stir-fries and marinades for an instant lift of heat and colour. It works well mixed into rice dishes, spooned over grilled meats or fish, or blended into sauces and gravies where a strong chilli base is needed. A small spoonful added to onions as they cook builds a good foundation for a curry. Use sparingly at first, then add more to taste, as the paste is concentrated. Once opened, keep the jar in the fridge and always use a clean, dry spoon to help it keep well between uses. Reseal the lid tightly after each use to maintain its texture and colour.
