Tropics Tikka Marinade is a smooth, pourable marinade with a warm, spiced tikka character. Supplied in a 500ml bottle, it has a rich orange-red colour typical of tikka-style blends and a thick enough consistency to coat meat, fish or vegetables evenly. Use it to marinate chicken, lamb or paneer before grilling, roasting or cooking on skewers for a classic tikka dish. It also works well stirred through vegetables before oven-roasting, or brushed onto meat during barbecuing for extra colour and flavour. For a deeper flavour, leave the marinade to work into the meat for a few hours, or overnight in the fridge, before cooking. Shake the bottle well before each use, as the marinade can settle. Once opened, keep it in the fridge and use within the time stated on the label. Any leftover marinade that has not been in contact with raw meat can be spooned over cooked dishes as a finishing sauce, adding extra tikka flavour to rice, flatbreads or grilled vegetables.
