Sofra Hot Jalapeno Sauce is best known as the finishing touch for a kebab, spooned over doner meat and salad in a wrap or flatbread. It is a hot sauce made from jalapeno peppers, falling within our Condiments & Pickles range. The sauce has a bright green colour and a pourable consistency, making it easy to drizzle rather than spread. Its heat comes through quickly, giving a sharp kick that cuts through rich or fatty foods. At home, it works well beyond kebabs. Use it on burgers, hot dogs and grilled chicken for extra bite, or add a dash to chips, nachos or pizza. A spoonful stirred through mayonnaise or ketchup makes a quick dipping sauce for wraps and fries. Keep the bottle in a cool, dry place before opening. Once opened, store it in the fridge and give it a shake before use, as the sauce can settle. A little goes a long way, so add gradually to suit taste.
