M.S Lanchhaydar Para is a layered flatbread, sold frozen and ready to cook at home. Its folded layers give a flaky texture once heated, making it a popular choice alongside curries and dal. This flatbread works well served with everyday dishes such as chicken curry, mixed vegetable curry or a simple dal. It also makes a good base for a quick wrap, filled with leftover curry or spiced vegetables. Cook straight from frozen on a hot tawa or non-stick pan. Turn regularly and press gently with a spatula to help the layers separate and crisp up. A light brushing of oil or ghee while cooking helps achieve an even, golden finish. Keep the flatbread in the freezer until needed and only take out the amount required for each meal. Reseal the bag tightly after use to help keep the remaining pieces in good condition. Serve hot, straight from the pan, for the best texture.
