Ice arrives frozen solid, ready to crack into cubes for drinks and everyday cooling. It is clear to cloudy in appearance, hard to the touch, and melts gradually once out of the freezer. Use it to chill soft drinks, squash, and cocktails, or drop a few cubes into iced tea and iced coffee for a quick cool-down. It also works well for keeping wine, prosecco, or beer cold in a bucket, and for lining trays under fish or seafood to keep them fresh during a summer spread. Keep ice in the freezer until needed, as it will begin to melt at room temperature within minutes. For drinks, add ice just before serving so it stays firm for longer. If cubes have started to stick together in the bag, give them a light tap to separate them before use.
